Hike # 3 -- the "Dewitt Clinton/Botanical Gardens/Mosholu Parkway Hike" -- had 10 participants: Michael Foster, Michael S., Sean B., Patrick B., Adam W., James N., Michael N., Dominick P., Gabriel L., and myself.

We started at DeWitt Clinton High School and the boys were given an historical hike through Jerome Reservoir, Bedford Park Boulevard, and The Grand Concourse. We then entered the Bronx Botanical Gardens and traveled through the Native Forest, along the Bronx River, past the Snuff Mill, Wetlands and Forest Trail out to the Library. We then traveled back along Mosholu Parkway (an old Native American name) and back to DeWitt H.S.

A 10-ish mile hike, but rich in history and nature. -- Ellen Beltran, Troop Committee Member, and Hike Guide.
